Cameron & Wilding are a young, ambitious, professionally run company. We currently have over 16 years of in house Drupal experience and working as a close knit team we have delivered on many complex and challenging projects. Our focus is very much on backend Drupal development but over the coming 24 months we will be working more in web strategy, optimisation, analytics, interface design and business process analysis, so there is a lot of scope for growth and skills development. Digital Project Manager
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and experienced Digital Project Manager (DPM) who can take ownership of multiple projects from proposal to completion. You will work closely with the development team to put together proposals and project schedules. It will then be your responsibility to monitor the ongoing progress of the development and liaise with all parties to ensure a smooth running project. In a small team such as ours you will have to be keen to get involved in a number of areas - there will be no typical day.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, managing and running projects up to £100k
- Work with the team to produce project schedules
- Run client workshops, meetings, demos, training
- Maintain regular communication with clients
- Keep all project documentation up to date
- Record and manage risks and issues
- Help ensure best practices are carried out
- Reporting weekly to clients on project progress
- Reporting internally on project progress
- Manage the best approach to UX, creative and technical work
- Work to ensure clients additional needs are highlighted and supported
- Maintain quality relationships with all clients
Essential Experience and Skills:
- 3+ years digital agency experience
- Experience of managing multiple projects
- Able to create project plans, schedules, reports and monitor them
- Track record of hitting deadlines
- Scheduling of resources on multiple projects
- Ability to analytically review clients business needs and match appropriate technical solutions
- An understanding of the principles of how CMS, preferably Drupal, and web apps work
- Experienced in a variety of platforms, technologies and channels
- Experience designing and implementing testing of web applications
Essential (and demonstrable) soft skills:
- Understanding of the importance of client business culture and willingness to adapt.
- Able to build rapport and long term relationships with clients
- Able to make well balanced and autonomous decisions
- Handle delicate situations with confidence, tact and diplomacy.
- Honesty and candour
- Eager to learn, improve and develop.
- Passionate about all things web.
- A good team worker and all round nice person.
Desirable Experience and Qualifications:
- A university degree
- Formal certification in a project management methodology (e.g. PRINCE2)
- Knowledge of common wireframing tools.
