Drupal7
I've spent some time recently building a Cameron & Wilding Drupal 7 installation profile. Whenever we set up a new site from scratch, be it for testing or development on a new project, we always end up installing a host of useful modules: Devel, Views, CTools and Features, to name just a few of them.
This morning 3 years of hard work by tens of thousands of people finally came to fruition, Drupal 7.0 is now released! It took longer than most people thought, but the final product is undeniably worth it. All the hard work really shows with increased usability, a more intuitive core and much slicker interface.
A few days ago we set aside a couple of days for contributing back to Drupal. Lisa managed to find the time to bring one of her custom modules up to scratch and start it on the long road to release. Daniel and Pablo spent their time fixing some modules that they had used in previous projects:
A couple of weeks ago we started the development of a new site for great client. I can't go into the details too much, but it is essentially a knowledge portal with some social networking and groups functionality; the trickiest part is some API integration with a 3rd party CRM tool.
