Social Media
Small but significant is the small blue Facebook icon on the bottom of this billboard in London Bridge tube station. I took this photo a couple of weeks ago, happy to see that print and digital are joining forces. It has seemed to me at times that print has been dragged kicking and screaming to meet digital. Hopefully this is a sign that they may play nicely together. It is the classic story of old meets new and old is not too keen on changing.
I've recently been researching a proposal for a client's website and have come across something interesting. The sector, a specific field of PR, seems confused as to whether to take up social media or not and who could blame them with the huge choice that is now out there. Hopefully this post will help you decide what social media is appropriate, if at all, to you and/or your company.
At a great session on 'Effective Marketing in a Changing World', run by Business Link and presented by Grant Leboff, I spoke with a number of SME owners. Many of these owners did not understand, do or even think about blogging.
